This letter is sent as a recommendation on behalf of Equity Credit Options, and its princi-pal, Peter Blacksberg.
Equity Credit Options (ECO) has assisted me in reviewing, analyzing and performing fo-rensic audits on Residential Loan files. Over the past year, I have hired ECO to analyze ap-proximately 40-50 files. They usually “turn around” files presented within 48 hours, and have found RESPA and TILA violations in each file.
Peter is very easy to deal with, his fees are reasonable, and he is always available to dis-cuss issues with the files and with the borrower (client). I have found that hiring a company such as ECO saves me time and money, allowing me to be more productive with my time. Earlier this year, Sherman & Nathanson expanded its real estate law department in response to the overwhelming need of homeowners to modify the terms of their home mortgage loans based upon personal economic hardship, as well as their lender's/broker's violations of the Truth in Lending Act ("TILA") and the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act ("RESPA").
